A Real Wedding Feature — as seen on Nashville Bride Guide
In October 2024, Jana and Nathan celebrated an intimate micro-wedding in Nashville that combined understated sophistication with unforgettable surprises. Their day began with a first look at the chic Thompson Hotel, followed by a ceremony on the historic campus of Scarritt Bennett Center. With just 17 guests, the atmosphere remained personal and meaningful: every detail, from minimalist florals to a refined dinner tablescape, reflected the couple’s elegant, intentional vision.
The reception transitioned into a rooftop dance party at L.A. Jackson, where the unexpected happened: after finishing his meal, global music star Post Malone popped over to congratulate the newlyweds. His casual cool energy, genuine congratulations, and willingness to pose for a quick photo made the night truly one-of-a-kind — and gave this already special wedding an unforgettable moment.
As the photographer behind the lens, I was honored to document every laugh, hug, and stunned reaction. Jana’s classic black-tie look, the couple’s intentional décor choices, and the mix of elegance + spontaneity made this day a perfect representation of how weddings should feel: real, emotional, and full of personality.
